I believe what attracted me to Reserve of Turpin were the trees and hills. I grew up in West Virginia and was used to this type of landscape. However, I also know that it takes a lot of effort to maintain due to the many trees and changes in elevation. The HOA Board on Monday approved nearly $20,000 for 2023 to remove some trees, replace others damaged in the April storm and trim some branches. In addition, there were many bushes that needed to be replaced and after a 4 hour walk in the neighborhood, we selected as many as possible. The work should be completed in the next 4 weeks or so by Ground Systems and Harrison Tree. There will be a tag placed on your door when the work is completed. What I need from each resident affected is to follow the advice listed on the tag to water the new planting to ensure they survive and enhance the beauty of the neighborhood.
I also wanted to remind everyone that you must submit an Improvement Application for any exterior repairs including landscaping such as adding bushes at your expense. The Board will respond to you quickly for approval if appropriate. The form can be found on reserveofturpin.com
On the subject of concrete repairs, we expect to get final quotes during June and I can report back to you in next month’s Board report.
Three trash receptacles will be installed soon in the neighborhood with signs indicating the requirement to pick up after your pet to help your neighbors. Bags will continue to be supplied on Silver Fox.
Let’s keep our neighborhood beautiful!
