March 20, 2025

We had a fantastic turnout of nearly 50 residents at the Annual Meeting held at the Clubhouse last night.  They heard wonderful reports from Board Members on the accomplishments from last year and the plans for 2025 from Terry Dean, Julia Wallner, Patrice Hull, Terry Skiba and Charlie Rapier of Towne Properties.  Also, an opportunity for residents to ask many questions of the Board.  Thanks for attending!

An update on several projects was discussed including the painting on Cardinal Hill that is ongoing.  When completed, this will end Year 2 of the 5 Year plan for gutters and painting.  Covey Run South will receive both next year.  The preliminary walk thru to determine concrete priorities has been completed and the findings will be passed on to 3 contractors to quote for work to be completed in the next few months.  The plan is to complete 14 decks this year and that has also been passed on to several contractors to determine priorities.  Several landscaping projects will be determined soon to ensure plantings are complete before the summer heat.  Also, it is being determined where grass can be planted to eliminate damaged areas.

We hope that you can attend the Easter Egg Hunt on April 12th and you will be able to see the improvements to the interior of the Clubhouse.  Patrice Hull has done an excellent job in managing the renovations.  The Clubhouse is a great and inexpensive way to schedule your next event.

Baseball is a week away, which is usually a good indicator of spring weather which is something we should all be looking forward to.  As you can tell from the project timing, the Board is committed to getting projects done early so that you can enjoy the improvements while the weather is good this summer.

There are several important updates in Town Square regarding Alta Fiber cables and the timing of when they will be installed underground and timing of Ground Systems activities in Landscaping.  Please continue to use Town Square as a communication tool.  It significantly assists the Board and Towne Properties in getting answers and resolutions to you much faster.
