Fantastic turnout for the Annual Meeting on Wednesday!  Thanks to all that were able to attend.  It was an informative night both in presentations from the Board on the vision for 2024 and the efforts involved but also to hear the questions from residents that will help the decisions going forward.

There were also discussions regarding the upcoming votes for changes to the rental and sign policies.  Over the next few weeks, the Board will meet with our attorney to draft the final versions based on the rental survey results and other Board meetings about the sign policy.  If you have not completed the survey yet, the link is https://surveymonkey.com/r/7HF9V3L.  It will remain open until the end of March.  Julia Wallner will communicate the final survey results to the Board and our attorney, Cassie Edwards.  Jeff Zalar will develop a get out the vote plan for the rental policy and Terry Dean the same for the sign policy.  As you know a 75% vote is required for any changes.  You will receive the proposed changes in the mail with a ballot for both policies and a Town Hall will be scheduled to address any questions or concerns.

As advertised, projects began early this year.  The gutters for the Clubhouse, Doeview and Deerview, as well as one building on Covey Run have been completed.  The first of at least 5 deck replacements was completed on Deerview and we may be able to complete 7 or 8 this year in time for summer enjoyment.  The parking pad and other concrete improvements have also been completed on Silver Fox and some step support concrete on Cardinal Hill.  There will be meetings with concrete contractors over the next few weeks to finalize plans for the remainder of the spring including driveways, sidewalks, patios, porches, parking pads, etc.  In addition, quotes are being obtained for road resurfacing on Sanctuary Circle and Wildhaven Way.

Work has begun on landscaping improvements to enhance the appearance of the neighborhood and there will be several exciting projects in 2024.  There were many questions regarding the painting schedule for the Crest.  That schedule has been obtained and will begin in 2024 over a 5-year period after a meeting is held with the contractor in April.  The schedule and what buildings will be completed each year will be posted on ReserveofTurpin.com and the Town Sq no later than May 1st.  Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

It will be a very busy year again at the Rec clubhouse.  The parking area will be resurfaced.   In addition, improvements to the tennis/pickleball court that include resurfacing and moveable nets for tennis and pickleball so a tennis match or two pickleball matches can be played at the same time.  The website will allow for reservation times to be set up to avoid being double booked. Both projects will be completed in time for the pool opening and a celebration will be scheduled at that time.  Please continue to check out the website for further details.

The Board would also like to announce that Nick Klosterman has joined the Board as our 7th member.  He has extensive experience in landscaping that will help us in decisions for improvements.  Welcome, Nick.

Lastly, it is always a happy day when Ground Systems puts down the mulch because it is an excellent indicator that Spring is Here!  Hope that everyone has a wonderful Spring!
