Summertime brings great weather but also a number of contractors to get many projects done.  By the time of this report being posted, there have been two very important projects completed in the neighborhood.  Over $25,000 of landscaping and tree work by Ground Systems and Harrison Tree were completed near many residences in the Crest.  As posted on the front doors of those units, watering is very important to maintain both the bushes and trees, especially due to the very dry conditions.  Please do your part to help maintain their beauty.

The other very important project involved the opening of the pool.  In that case, very dry conditions contributed to a lot of residents being able to utilize the pool each day.  Thanks to Terry Dean and Charlie Rapier in getting the new fence, gate, and fobs done on-time.  We are also looking into changing the locks on the tennis court so that your fob works for both the pool and the tennis court.

Thank you to Julia Wallner and all our neighbors that participated in the Yard Sale on Saturday, June 17.  We had great weather and we hope that each of you got to clean out a few things or at the very least meet some new neighbors.  We are hoping to make this an annual event moving forward and look to have more and more families participate.

We have received one proposal for concrete repairs and the other should be received soon.  At that time, we will alert any residents of repairs on their driveways, sidewalks, patios, etc. and the potential dates for the work to be done in the fall.  Our goal is to complete as many as possible; but others will go to the top of the list for 2024.

There are still residents who have not moved the grills to the lower level.  To meet our requirements for insurance coverage, please do that as soon as possible.  As mentioned in earlier reports, the dog waste stations and signs should be installed in three locations throughout the Crest this week.  There have also been many questions about deck paint peeling or boards in need of repair.  Expect an update on those issues in next month’s report.

Take care and have a great summer!
