We hope that everyone is having a wonderful Summer!

The improvements around the Clubhouse have been fantastic.  There has been good attendance at the pool and playing on the new tennis/pickleball courts.  We always appreciate suggestions as well and two recent ones have resulted in improvements that are completed or in progress.  One is the addition of an adult swim hour at the pool.  The other is a very important safety addition of a defibrillator in the event of someone needing that quickly.

The concrete work scheduled for this year has been completed with over $150,000 spent and a priority list established for 2025.  As many of you have noticed, Sanctuary Circle and Wildhaven Way have been resurfaced and is the first of a five-year plan to repave all roads in the Crest.

The Board has been concentrating on ways to schedule annual events to enhance the appearance of both the Crest as well as the buildings.  One started last year was to clean out all gutters in the late fall.  Another is to have all rotten wood replaced that was identified on the streets where painting was done this year.  Plans are to replace up to ten decks this year and the recipients of the new decks will have an option to have their railings painted to complete the visual improvement.

The Board has also approved the replacement of 1 or two mailboxes.  One that has been identified for 2024 is on Copperleaf Lane.  Soft washing of the decks as well as inspects to prioritize replacement, painting and board replacement is currently scheduled for this week.  Will keep you posted!

Plans are being made to schedule a town hall to address the two resolutions that are being planned for a vote.  If possible, that will occur at the next Board meeting scheduled for August 22nd.

Finally, thanks to all that have started using the TowneSq app. Currently over 70% of the community is now signed up for this direct communication link between residents and our property manager which is monitored by your board.
