February Board Report       February 23, 2024

Wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the Annual Meeting at the Clubhouse on March 20th at 6:30 PM.  Please complete your proxies or bring them with you so that we can have the meeting.  Lots to talk about from last year and what is planned for an exciting year of 2024!

The Town Hall meeting on Wednesday to review the survey results regarding rentals was very well attended.  The meeting was very informative, and the questions and suggestions were very thoughtful.  The survey will remain open for a month or two and after the policy is drafted a second town hall will be scheduled before voting on the changes.  If you have not completed the survey yet, the link is https://surveymonkey.com/r/7HF9V3L.

Several of the projects planned have already been approved.  Feazel will begin replacing any of the smaller gutters with larger ones on buildings as early as next week for the Clubhouse, Doeview, Deerview and the first building on the right on Covey Run South as you go up the hill.  Also, plans are set to replace the parking pad, sidewalk and curbs on Silver Fox that are badly deteriorated.  That is expected to be completed prior to the Annual Meeting on March 20th.

The Maintenance group is starting to identify decks that need to be replaced and we are budgeted for six this year.  Owners will be notified soon.  The walk thru’s of the neighborhood by Board members will continue looking for necessary repairs to concrete as well as landscaping.

It will be a very busy year again at the Rec clubhouse.  There are plans to resurface the parking lot.  In addition, improvements to the tennis/pickleball court that include resurfacing and moveable nets for tennis and pickleball so a tennis match or two pickleball matches can be played at the same time.  The website will allow for reservation times to be set up to avoid being double booked. Please continue to check out the website for further details.

The Board has been very encouraged by residents using the Town Square app to make maintenance requests, ask questions and reserve the Clubhouse.  We can respond much quicker to your requests as a result.

Wanted to let everyone know that Jennifer Samaniego is now the Towne Properties Customer Service Administrator working with Charlie Rapier our Senior Association Manager.  JenniferSamaniego@TowneProperties.com 513-489-4059.  Welcome, Jennifer!

Spring is around the corner and efforts are being made to repair and enhance landscaping where possible.  Not being a winter person, spring is my favorite time of the year.

Take care and see you at the Annual Meeting.
