The Board would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season with family and friends.  We are also looking forward to a very prosperous and Happy New Year!

There is no Board Meeting in December so wanted to cover a few things.  Several Board Members will continue to inspect each residence over the next few months for potential concrete or landscaping issues.  Now that the leaves have fallen and Ground Systems has done its final service for the year, the Towne Properties maintenance crew will continue to clean out all gutters and inspect for gutter or deck issues.  As mentioned before, the goal is to work with contractors to get a lot of repair and construction work done in the spring instead of waiting until the fall.  That way we can enjoy the improvements throughout the summer.

There have been a few requests to update the website for items that the residents are required to replace such as exterior lights.  The following link shows those updated requirements which includes the choice of pewter for the lighting finish which is economical as well as readily available at Lowe’s and other choices of stores.  Please fill out an improvement application when replacing.  We will continue to study other requirements to look for more options.  The FAQ page on the website also has these details. https://www.lowes.com/search?searchTerm=pewter+quoizel+outdoor+lights

Another update involves grills.  We continue to find violations with grills on the deck and not moved to the patio.  This is a violation of our insurance policy, ROT policy and fire code.  It also puts at risk your family, neighbors, and community.  Please take care of it immediately.  If you have difficulty in moving it, Towne Properties maintenance can assist.

A special thank you to those involved in selecting a company to update the lighting of the clubhouse for the Holiday Season.  What a beautiful way to enter the Reserve of Turpin.  Also, thanks to those involved in working with the reservations for the Clubhouse.  It has been very busy this month.  That brings up another thank you to all that have volunteered this year for events at Easter, Yard Sales, Halloween and recently the food drive for a great cause.

Take care and enjoy the Holidays!
