August Board Report
Well, if you like hot temperatures this summer has been for you!
As a result, it is a good time to let you know the pool is extended for another 2 weeks and will not close until September 15th. Also, a fantastic opportunity to enjoy it with your family this upcoming Labor Day weekend.
With a few exceptions still to complete, the cleaning of the decks coupled with a mold control has been a success. Thanks to the maintenance crews for making it happen especially with the very warm temperatures. They are currently identifying 2 to 3 additional decks for replacement this year. As mentioned before, we will be contacting the owners with new decks this year to determine if they would like their railings painted as well.
Once the decks are complete, the Board will have authorized over $400,000 in projects this year and have developed a 5-year plan to continue the process of road repaving, gutter replacement, painting, concrete work and landscaping.
As many of you have seen, some dead plants were removed recently but will be replaced in late September or early October when the weather has cooled down. Please continue to water to avoid any other casualties. We have contracted also for the removal of several dead trees which are now scheduled for October 29th.
The new resolutions are now complete and will be mailed to you for consideration and a vote as early as the end of this week. A Town Hall meeting at the Clubhouse is scheduled for September 18 to discuss the resolutions and answer any questions. We hope to see you there.
