Well, the dry and hot conditions have certainly arrived! There have been several announcements for watering new plantings for good reason. We would appreciate your cooperation to keep the neighborhood looking great! But the good thing is the pool is open and a fantastic place to cool off. Please check out the new water cooler to fill up your containers. It is located near the restrooms.
The tennis/pickleball courts are refinished, striped and you can even reserve court times. Just go to the www.ReserveofTurpin.com, get registered and reserve your time. You will get an email confirmation which will give you priority over walk-ons.
The Board met last week and again yesterday in a special session and is continuing to make progress on the new rental and signage resolutions. After Board approval, a Town Hall will be set up soon to discuss the proposed resolutions with residents before the vote
The noise you hear this week is for a variety of concrete projects that may be completed by the end of this week. A listing of future projects has been established for 2025 and beyond. In the next 2-3 weeks, Sanctuary Circle and Wildhaven Way will be repaved. You will receive notice ahead and the project will last just one day. Remote parking would be the best plan but the contractor will work with you to get you out if necessary, but please be patient; they may not be able to do it right away.
We are keeping a list of all deck repair requests and the Board did approve an additional 4-6 for this year. Also, please continue to send in, through the TownSq app, requests for board replacements, painting, etc. so we can accommodate as many as possible. The painter is also repairing several rotten wood issues on Doeview, Deerview and Walnut View that were found during the recent painting. A listing of addresses affected will be posted.
